Abstract
This research project aims to investigate and compare patient satisfaction with dental implant treatment through a comprehensive comparative study. The study will focus on assessing the level of satisfaction among patients who have undergone dental implant procedures and comparing it across different demographic variables. The primary objective is to identify factors that influence patient satisfaction with dental implants and to determine any significant differences in satisfaction levels based on demographic characteristics. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. A structured questionnaire will be administered to patients who have undergone dental implant treatment to collect quantitative data on their satisfaction levels. Additionally, in-depth interviews will be conducted with a subset of participants to gather qualitative insights into their experiences and perceptions of the treatment. The literature review will provide a comprehensive overview of existing research on patient satisfaction with dental implant treatment. It will explore factors that have been identified in previous studies as influencing patient satisfaction, such as treatment outcomes, pain management, aesthetics, and overall experience. The review will also highlight any gaps in the literature that this study aims to address. The research methodology will involve recruiting a sample of patients from dental clinics who have undergone dental implant treatment. Data collection will be carried out using the structured questionnaire and in-depth interviews. Statistical analysis will be conducted to compare satisfaction levels across different demographic variables, such as age, gender, and socioeconomic status. The findings of the study will be presented and discussed in Chapter Four, focusing on the factors that influence patient satisfaction with dental implant treatment. The discussion will also explore any significant differences in satisfaction levels based on demographic characteristics and provide insights into patient experiences and perceptions of the treatment. In conclusion, this research project will contribute to the understanding of patient satisfaction with dental implant treatment and provide valuable insights for dental practitioners to improve patient care and treatment outcomes. The findings will have implications for clinical practice and may inform future research in the field of dental implantology.
