Tooth whitening has become increasingly popular as a cosmetic dental procedure, with various methods available to achieve a brighter smile. This research project aims to assess the efficacy of different tooth whitening methods in dental patients. The study will focus on comparing the effectiveness of commonly used tooth whitening techniques, including in-office professional whitening, at-home whitening kits, and natural remedies. Chapter One of the research will provide an introduction to the topic, presenting the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two will consist of a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to tooth whitening methods and their efficacy. Chapter Three will detail the research methodology, including research design, sample selection, data collection methods, variables, data analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and limitations. Chapter Four will present the findings of the study, discussing seven key items related to the efficacy of different tooth whitening methods based on the research results. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of tooth whitening outcomes and qualitative feedback from participants regarding their experiences with different whitening methods. The study will include a diverse sample of dental patients to ensure comprehensive insights into the efficacy of various tooth whitening techniques. Through the analysis of data, this research aims to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of different tooth whitening methods, helping dental professionals make informed recommendations to patients seeking to enhance the aesthetics of their smiles. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on tooth whitening procedures and assist in improving patient outcomes and satisfaction with cosmetic dental treatments.
