Periodontal disease is a prevalent oral health condition affecting a significant portion of the global population. Traditional treatment modalities for periodontal disease, such as scaling and root planing, have shown varying degrees of efficacy, prompting the exploration of alternative therapies. Laser therapy has emerged as a promising intervention in the management of periodontal disease due to its precise targeting of diseased tissue and potential for improved patient outcomes. This research aims to assess the efficacy of laser therapy in the management of periodontal disease through a comprehensive review of existing literature, a detailed analysis of the methodology employed in relevant studies, and a critical discussion of the findings.
