Abstract
This research study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of tele-dentistry in enhancing access to dental care for underserved communities. The utilization of tele-dentistry, which involves the use of telecommunication technologies to provide dental services remotely, has the potential to address the disparities in dental care access faced by vulnerable populations. The study will investigate the impact of tele-dentistry on improving the availability and quality of dental services, as well as its potential to enhance oral health outcomes in underserved communities. The research will be conducted through a comprehensive literature review to examine the existing evidence on the use of tele-dentistry in dental care delivery. This review will encompass studies on the effectiveness, benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with tele-dentistry in various settings. The findings from the literature review will inform the development of a research methodology that includes data collection through surveys, interviews, and case studies. The research methodology will also involve assessing the perceptions and experiences of dental care providers, patients, and other stakeholders regarding the implementation of tele-dentistry in underserved communities. The data collected will be analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify patterns, trends, and key factors influencing the effectiveness of tele-dentistry in improving access to dental care. The discussion of findings will present a detailed analysis of the research results, highlighting the strengths and limitations of tele-dentistry in addressing the challenges of dental care access in underserved communities.
