This research project aims to investigate and compare the effectiveness of various toothpaste formulations in preventing dental caries. Dental caries, commonly known as tooth decay, is a prevalent oral health issue affecting individuals of all ages worldwide. The study will focus on assessing the efficacy of different types of toothpaste in combating dental caries, with the ultimate goal of providing valuable insights for oral health professionals and individuals in selecting the most effective toothpaste for caries prevention. The research will be conducted through a systematic literature review to evaluate existing studies on the efficacy of various toothpaste formulations in preventing dental caries. The review will encompass a comprehensive analysis of published articles, research papers, and clinical trials related to the topic. The findings from the literature review will be synthesized to identify trends, knowledge gaps, and areas for further investigation. Furthermore, the research methodology will involve the design and implementation of experimental studies to directly compare the effectiveness of different toothpaste formulations in inhibiting the development of dental caries. Various parameters, such as fluoride content, antimicrobial agents, and abrasiveness, will be considered in the evaluation of toothpaste efficacy. The experimental data will be analyzed using statistical methods to determine the significance of the observed differences.
