Tele-dentistry, a growing field in dentistry, offers a promising solution for providing remote dental consultations. This research project aims to investigate the implementation of tele-dentistry for remote dental consultations, exploring its potential benefits and challenges. The study is structured into five chapters, each focusing on specific aspects related to tele-dentistry. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and key definitions of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects of tele-dentistry, including its evolution, technologies used, benefits, challenges, legal and ethical considerations, patient satisfaction, and impact on access to care. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sample selection, data analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. The chapter also discusses the steps taken to ensure the validity and reliability of the research findings. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the research findings, analyzing the key outcomes related to the implementation of tele-dentistry for remote dental consultations.
