Virtual Reality (VR) technology has gained significant attention in various fields, including healthcare, for its potential to enhance training and education experiences. This research aims to explore the applications and benefits of incorporating VR technology in dental education and training. The study investigates how VR can enhance the learning process, improve practical skills acquisition, and increase student engagement in dental education. Through an extensive literature review, this research examines existing studies on the use of VR in dental training, highlighting its effectiveness and potential challenges. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and observations, to gather comprehensive data on the experiences and perceptions of dental students, educators, and practitioners regarding the use of VR technology. The study also explores the technical requirements, costs, and accessibility of VR systems in dental education settings. Additionally, the research investigates the potential limitations and challenges associated with implementing VR technology, such as user adaptation, content development, and technical support. The findings reveal that VR technology offers unique opportunities to simulate realistic dental scenarios, enhance procedural skills training, and provide interactive learning experiences for students. Educators and students recognize the benefits of VR in improving spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and decision-making skills in dental practice.
