Periodontal diseases are prevalent oral health conditions affecting a significant portion of the global population. Traditional treatment methods have shown varying degrees of success in managing these conditions. Laser therapy has emerged as a promising alternative for the treatment of periodontal diseases due to its minimally invasive nature and potential for improved outcomes. This research project aims to assess the efficacy of laser therapy in periodontal treatment by conducting a comprehensive investigation into its effectiveness and impact on patient outcomes. Chapter One of the research project provides an in-depth introduction to the topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. The subsequent chapter delves into a detailed literature review encompassing ten key areas relevant to laser therapy in periodontal treatment. This chapter aims to provide a comprehensive overview of existing knowledge, research findings, and gaps in the current literature. Chapter Three focuses on the research methodology and outlines the approach, design, participants, data collection methods, variables, instruments, data analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study.
