The utilization of body-worn cameras (BWCs) by law enforcement agencies has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, with the aim of enhancing transparency, accountability, and trust between police officers and the public. This research study delves into the impact of body-worn cameras on police officer behavior and public trust in law enforcement. The study investigates the effectiveness of BWCs in influencing the conduct of police officers during interactions with the public, as well as the perceptions and attitudes of community members towards law enforcement practices. The research methodology employed in this study is a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. A comprehensive literature review provides insights into the existing body of knowledge on the subject, examining previous studies, theoretical frameworks, and empirical findings related to the use of body-worn cameras in policing. The findings of this study reveal that the implementation of body-worn cameras has a multifaceted impact on police officer behavior and public trust in law enforcement.
