In the digital age, the prevalence of cybercrime has become a significant concern for individuals, organizations, and governments worldwide. The rapid advancements in technology have not only provided new opportunities for criminal activities but have also presented challenges for law enforcement agencies in investigating and preventing cybercrimes effectively. This research study aims to explore the impact of technology on the investigation and prevention of cybercrime, with a focus on understanding the key issues, trends, and strategies involved. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that sets the stage for examining the intersection of technology and cybercrime. The background of the study provides a contextual framework by highlighting the increasing reliance on digital technologies and the corresponding rise in cyber threats. The problem statement identifies the gaps and challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in addressing cybercrimes in the digital age. The objectives of the study are to analyze the influence of technology on cybercrime investigations and prevention efforts, identify best practices and strategies for combating cybercrimes, and assess the effectiveness of current technological tools and methods.
