Project Abstract

This project aims to explore the effectiveness of restorative justice practices in reducing recidivism, a critical issue in the criminal justice system. Recidivism, the tendency of convicted offenders to reoffend after their release, is a persistent challenge that undermines rehabilitation efforts and perpetuates the cycle of crime. Traditional punitive approaches have had limited success in addressing this problem, leading to a growing interest in alternative approaches, such as restorative justice.
