Thesis Abstract

<p> Brain cancer is a devastating disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and invasion in the brain tissue. DNA damage and impaired DNA repair mechanisms have been implicated in the development and progression of brain cancer. This project aims to investigate the mechanisms of DNA damage and repair specifically in brain cancer, with a focus on understanding the molecular pathways involved and their potential as therapeutic targets. Through a combination of experimental techniques, data analysis, and literature review, this study will contribute to a better understanding of the underlying biology of brain cancer and may lead to the development of novel treatment strategies. <br></p>
