Thesis Abstract

<p> Cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease and stroke, are leading causes of death worldwide. The underlying mechanisms of these diseases involve DNA damage and impaired DNA repair processes. This project aims to investigate the biochemistry of DNA damage and repair in cardiovascular diseases. By studying the specific DNA repair pathways involved and the impact of DNA damage on cardiovascular cells, this research will contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases. <br></p>
