The phenomenon of climate change has become a pressing global issue, with far-reaching impacts on various ecosystems and wildlife populations. Among the most affected groups are migratory birds, whose seasonal movement patterns are intricately linked to environmental conditions. This research project aims to investigate the impact of climate change on bird migration patterns, focusing on how alterations in temperature, precipitation, and habitat availability influence the timing, duration, and routes of bird migrations. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study and highlighting the problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and key definitions of terms. The significance of this study lies in its potential to enhance our understanding of the complex interactions between climate change and bird migration, ultimately contributing to conservation efforts and the development of effective management strategies. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, consisting of ten key themes related to climate change impacts on bird migration patterns. This section synthesizes existing knowledge, theories, and empirical studies to provide a solid foundation for the research and identify gaps in the current understanding of the subject matter. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, covering aspects such as research design, data collection methods, sampling strategies, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. By adopting a multi-faceted approach that combines field observations, satellite tracking data, and climate modeling, this research seeks to generate robust empirical evidence on the effects of climate change on bird migration patterns. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, discussing seven key results derived from the analysis of empirical data. These findings shed light on the specific ways in which climate change influences bird migration behaviors, highlighting the importance of temperature, precipitation, and habitat quality as determining factors in shaping migration patterns.
