Invasive species have become a significant threat to native wildlife populations worldwide, disrupting ecosystems and causing environmental imbalances. This research project delves into the ecological impact of invasive species on native wildlife populations in a specific region, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by these invaders. The study focuses on identifying the mechanisms through which invasive species interact with native wildlife, assessing the resultant ecological consequences, and exploring potential mitigation strategies. Chapter 1 introduces the research topic, providing background information on invasive species, their spread, and their impacts on biodiversity. The problem statement highlights the need to address the ecological consequences of invasive species to protect native wildlife populations effectively. The objectives of the study include evaluating the ecological impact of invasive species, identifying key factors influencing these impacts, and proposing management strategies.
