Climate change is a global phenomenon that poses significant threats to marine biodiversity, particularly in delicate ecosystems such as coral reefs. This research project focuses on investigating the effects of climate change on marine biodiversity, with a specific case study on coral reefs. The study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state of coral reefs in the context of climate change, as well as to assess the implications of these changes on marine biodiversity. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. The chapter sets the stage for understanding the importance of studying the effects of climate change on marine biodiversity, particularly in coral reef ecosystems. Chapter 2 consists of a detailed literature review that explores existing research and findings related to climate change impacts on marine biodiversity, focusing on coral reefs. The literature review covers ten key areas, including the current state of coral reefs, the effects of rising sea temperatures, ocean acidification, coral bleaching events, and the response of marine organisms to climate change. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology employed in this study, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations.
