This research project explores the opportunities and challenges associated with the adoption of telemedicine in veterinary medicine. The study aims to investigate how telemedicine can enhance veterinary care delivery, improve access to veterinary services, and address the limitations faced by both veterinarians and pet owners. Additionally, the project seeks to identify the obstacles hindering the widespread implementation of telemedicine in veterinary practice and propose strategies to overcome these barriers. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlines the background of the study, presents the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and defines key terms. Chapter Two reviews existing literature on telemedicine in veterinary medicine, including studies on teleconsultations, teletriage, telemonitoring, and teleeducation in the veterinary field.
