Abstract
Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease in dogs, leading to pain, inflammation, and decreased mobility. Traditional treatments often provide limited relief, highlighting the need for alternative therapies. Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising approach for managing osteoarthritis by promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation. This research aims to explore the efficacy and safety of stem cell therapy in treating osteoarthritis in dogs. The study will commence with a comprehensive review of the literature on stem cell therapy and osteoarthritis in dogs, focusing on the mechanisms of action, previous research findings, and current trends in this field. Subsequently, the research methodology will be outlined, detailing the selection criteria for study subjects, stem cell isolation and administration protocols, outcome measures, and statistical analysis methods. A prospective clinical trial will be conducted to evaluate the therapeutic effects of stem cell therapy in dogs with osteoarthritis. Dogs meeting the inclusion criteria will undergo stem cell administration, and their clinical status, pain levels, joint function, and quality of life will be monitored over a specified period.
