Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease that affects dogs, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Traditional treatment options for osteoarthritis in dogs often provide limited relief and may have adverse side effects. Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising alternative treatment for osteoarthritis in dogs, with the potential to regenerate damaged joint tissues and improve overall joint function. This research project aims to investigate the effectiveness of stem cell therapy in treating osteoarthritis in dogs. Chapter one of the study provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review that explores the current understanding of osteoarthritis in dogs, existing treatment options, and the potential benefits of stem cell therapy. The literature review also examines previous studies on the use of stem cell therapy for treating osteoarthritis in veterinary medicine. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including the study design, sample size, inclusion criteria, stem cell source, administration protocol, outcome measures, and data analysis methods.
