Abstract
This research study investigates the effectiveness of probiotics in managing gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. Gastrointestinal disorders are common in dogs and can lead to various health issues if not properly managed. Probiotics are live microorganisms that are believed to provide health benefits when consumed. The use of probiotics in human medicine has shown promising results in managing gastrointestinal disorders, but their effectiveness in dogs is still not well understood. Therefore, this research aims to fill this knowledge gap by evaluating the impact of probiotics on gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. The research methodology includes a randomized controlled trial involving a sample of dogs diagnosed with gastrointestinal disorders. The dogs will be divided into two groups, with one group receiving probiotics and the other group receiving a placebo. Various parameters such as stool consistency, frequency of diarrhea, and overall gastrointestinal health will be monitored over a specified period. In addition, blood tests and fecal analysis will be conducted to assess the impact of probiotics on gut microbiota and inflammatory markers. The literature review explores existing studies on the use of probiotics in managing gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. The review highlights the potential benefits of probiotics in improving gut health, enhancing immune function, and reducing inflammation in dogs.
