This study aims to explore how traditional forms of performance art, such as theatre, have been influenced by the integration of technology and how this intersection has shaped the landscape of contemporary theatre. The research begins with an exploration of the historical background of both traditional performance and technological advancements to provide a comprehensive understanding of their evolution and interaction. By examining the ways in which technology has been incorporated into traditional performance practices, this study seeks to identify the various forms and methods through which technology has influenced contemporary theatre productions. Through an in-depth literature review, this research will analyze existing scholarship on the subject to highlight key trends, challenges, and opportunities presented by the intersection of technology and traditional performance in contemporary theatre.
