Abstract
This research study examines the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices and beliefs. Globalization, characterized by the interconnectedness of societies and cultures across the world, has brought about significant changes in various aspects of human life, including religion. Traditional religious practices and beliefs, deeply rooted in cultural and historical contexts, are facing challenges and transformations in the face of globalization. The research begins with an exploration of the introduction, providing an overview of the topic and outlining the significance of studying the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices and beliefs. The background of the study delves into the historical context of globalization and its implications for religious traditions. The problem statement highlights the key issues and challenges faced by traditional religions in the era of globalization, such as cultural homogenization and the dilution of unique religious identities. The objectives of the study are to analyze the various ways in which globalization influences traditional religious practices and beliefs, to identify the factors contributing to the adaptation or resistance of traditional religions to globalization, and to assess the implications of these changes on individuals and communities. The limitations of the study acknowledge the constraints and boundaries within which the research is conducted, such as time and resource constraints.
