This research project delves into the comparative study of religious pilgrimages in different cultures, aiming to explore the similarities and differences in the practices, beliefs, and meanings associated with these sacred journeys. By examining the pilgrimage experiences in diverse cultural contexts, this study seeks to shed light on the universal aspects of religious devotion and the unique expressions of faith within specific cultural settings. The introduction provides an overview of the research focus, highlighting the importance of understanding religious pilgrimages as a cross-cultural phenomenon. The background of the study offers insights into the historical and cultural significance of pilgrimages in various religious traditions, setting the context for the comparative analysis.
