Globalization has become a dominant force shaping various aspects of contemporary societies, including traditional religious practices. This research project explores the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices within a specific culture. By conducting a case study, this research delves into how the processes of globalization have influenced, transformed, or challenged the ways in which traditional religious beliefs and rituals are practiced and preserved. The study begins by providing an overview of the background of the research, highlighting the significance of examining the intersection between globalization and traditional religious practices. Through a detailed literature review, the research explores existing scholarly works on globalization, cultural dynamics, and religious studies to establish a theoretical framework for analyzing the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices. Methodologically, this research project employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from members of the specific culture under study. The research methodology chapter outlines the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures employed to investigate the research questions.
