This research project explores the profound impact of globalization on traditional religious practices within a specific cultural context. Globalization, characterized by increased interconnectedness and interdependence among nations, has led to significant changes in various aspects of society, including religion. Traditional religious practices, deeply rooted in cultural heritage and historical traditions, are facing challenges and transformations in the face of globalization. This study focuses on understanding how globalization influences traditional religious practices and rituals, and how a specific culture navigates these changes. The project employs a qualitative case study methodology to investigate the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices within the chosen cultural context. Through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, the research aims to capture the lived experiences and perspectives of individuals engaged in traditional religious activities. The specific cultural context provides a rich and nuanced setting for examining the complexities of the interaction between globalization and traditional religious practices.
