This research study aims to compare two significant religious pilgrimage practices, namely the Hajj in Islam and the Kumbh Mela in Hinduism. The focus of this comparative analysis is to explore the similarities and differences in the religious beliefs, rituals, significance, and impact of these two pilgrimage events on the individuals and communities involved. The study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the cultural, social, and spiritual dimensions of the Hajj and Kumbh Mela, shedding light on how these practices shape the identities and experiences of the pilgrims. The research begins with an introduction that sets the context for the study, highlighting the importance of religious pilgrimage in both Islam and Hinduism.
