Project Abstract

This project aims to explore the intricate relationship between religious teachings and environmental sustainability, a critical issue that has gained increasing global attention in recent years. Given the profound influence of religious beliefs and practices on human behavior and decision-making, it is essential to understand how these belief systems can either hinder or promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. The importance of this project lies in the potential to uncover insights that can inform and guide policymakers, religious leaders, and the general public towards more effective strategies for environmental conservation and restoration. As the world grapples with the far-reaching consequences of climate change, habitat destruction, and resource depletion, it is crucial to understand the role that religion can play in shaping attitudes, values, and behaviors towards the natural world.
