Project Abstract

This project explores the complex relationship between religious diversity and social cohesion in multicultural societies. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, nations are grappling with the challenges and opportunities presented by the coexistence of diverse religious beliefs and practices. Understanding the dynamics of this relationship is crucial for promoting peaceful coexistence, fostering social harmony, and building inclusive communities. The study aims to investigate the ways in which religious diversity can both facilitate and hinder social cohesion, examining the factors that contribute to this dynamic. It will explore the role of religious institutions, faith-based organizations, and individual beliefs in shaping perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors towards individuals and groups of different religious affiliations.
