The procurement function plays a critical role in the success of manufacturing organizations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services from suppliers. Supplier selection is a key aspect of procurement that directly impacts the cost efficiency and overall performance of a manufacturing firm. In this research study, the focus is on optimizing the supplier selection process to enhance cost efficiency in the manufacturing industry. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on supplier selection processes, cost efficiency, and related concepts. The literature review identifies key factors that influence supplier selection decisions and outlines best practices for achieving cost efficiency in procurement activities. The research methodology employed in this study involves a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques.
