Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plays a crucial role in the success of manufacturing companies by ensuring efficient and effective sourcing of materials and services. This research project aims to explore the optimization of SRM in a manufacturing company to enhance operational performance and competitiveness. The study will focus on identifying key strategies and practices that can improve supplier relationships and drive value creation within the organization. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key items related to supplier relationship management and its impact on manufacturing operations. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. The chapter also discusses the theoretical framework that guides the research process. In Chapter Four, the findings of the study are discussed in detail, focusing on seven key areas such as the current state of supplier relationships, challenges faced in managing suppliers, best practices for optimizing SRM, benefits of effective supplier management, and strategies for improving supplier performance. Finally, Chapter Five presents the conclusion and summary of the research project, highlighting key findings, implications for practice, recommendations for future research, and the overall contribution of the study to the field of purchasing and supply management in manufacturing companies. The research findings will provide valuable insights and practical recommendations for manufacturing companies seeking to enhance their supplier relationships and improve operational efficiency through optimized SRM practices.
