Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plays a critical role in the success of businesses, particularly in the manufacturing industry where procurement costs can significantly impact overall operational expenses. This research focuses on exploring the optimization of Supplier Relationship Management practices to achieve cost reduction in the manufacturing sector. The study aims to investigate the current SRM strategies employed by manufacturing companies, identify challenges faced in supplier relationships, and propose effective solutions to enhance cost efficiency through improved supplier management. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review to examine existing theories, models, and case studies related to SRM and cost reduction in manufacturing. Data collection methods include surveys, interviews, and analysis of financial reports from selected manufacturing companies. The findings from the literature review and empirical data will be used to evaluate the impact of optimized SRM on cost reduction and overall performance in the manufacturing industry.
