Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have become increasingly popular in the public administration domain as a mechanism to enhance service delivery in local governments. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of PPPs in improving service delivery within the context of local governments. The study focuses on understanding the dynamics, challenges, and outcomes of PPP initiatives in local government service provision. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative data collection methods. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to explore existing theories, frameworks, and case studies related to PPP effectiveness in service delivery. The study also involves empirical data collection through interviews with key stakeholders involved in PPP projects in selected local governments. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review of PPPs, service delivery in local governments, and factors influencing the effectiveness of PPP initiatives. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the limitations and challenges faced during the research process.
