This research project delves into the analysis of the impact of e-government initiatives on citizen engagement in local governance. By exploring the utilization of digital platforms and tools by government entities to facilitate communication, participation, and collaboration with citizens, this study seeks to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of e-government strategies in fostering citizen involvement in decision-making processes at the local level. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that sets the stage for the study, followed by an exploration of the background of e-government initiatives and their evolution over time. The problem statement highlights the existing gaps in citizen engagement practices within local governance structures, emphasizing the need for more effective e-government solutions. The objectives of the study are outlined to guide the research process, focusing on assessing the impact of e-government initiatives on citizen engagement metrics.
