The implementation of e-government initiatives in local governments has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, aiming to enhance service delivery and interaction with citizens. This research study investigates the impact of e-government implementation on service delivery effectiveness within local government settings. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of service delivery metrics with qualitative data from key stakeholders. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of e-government implementation in local governments, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, examining existing research on e-government implementation, service delivery in local governments, and the relationship between technology and public administration. The review identifies key factors influencing the success of e-government initiatives and highlights gaps in the current literature. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, sampling strategy, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques.
