This research project investigates the utilization of technology to enhance citizen engagement in local government services. The advancement of technology has revolutionized various sectors, including the public administration domain. The objective of this study is to explore how technology can be effectively leveraged to improve communication, participation, and interaction between citizens and local government entities. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. The introduction sets the stage for understanding the importance of citizen engagement in local governance and the role of technology in facilitating this interaction. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review encompassing ten key items related to citizen engagement, technology adoption in government services, digital communication strategies, e-participation tools, and best practices in utilizing technology for public service delivery.
