The advent of e-government initiatives has revolutionized the way governments interact with citizens, aiming to enhance transparency, efficiency, and citizen engagement in public administration. This research project delves into the impact of e-government initiatives on citizen engagement within the realm of public administration. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, the study aims to identify the various ways e-government initiatives have influenced citizen engagement practices and outcomes. Chapter One of the research project provides an introduction to the topic, detailing the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. This chapter sets the stage for the exploration of e-government initiatives and their impact on citizen engagement. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review that examines ten key studies and publications related to e-government initiatives and citizen engagement in public administration. This review synthesizes existing knowledge on the subject, highlighting the various perspectives, methodologies, and findings of previous research in this area. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology adopted in this study, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations. By providing a clear methodological framework, this chapter ensures the rigor and validity of the research findings. In Chapter Four, the research findings are discussed in detail, focusing on seven key areas identified through data analysis.
