Challenges and Strategies for Sustainable Development This project aims to explore the complexities of democracy and good governance in the context of developing countries, with a focus on identifying the key challenges and proposing strategies for fostering sustainable development. The importance of this project lies in the critical role that effective governance and democratic institutions play in shaping the social, economic, and political landscapes of nations, particularly those grappling with the unique challenges faced by developing countries. Developing countries often face a multitude of obstacles in establishing and maintaining democratic systems and good governance practices. These include, but are not limited to, issues such as weak institutions, corruption, unequal distribution of resources, and lack of civic engagement. These challenges can hinder the ability of governments to effectively address the pressing needs of their citizens, and ultimately undermine the foundations of sustainable development. This project will delve into the various factors that contribute to the challenges of democracy and good governance in developing countries.
