Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various industries, including healthcare, by offering advanced tools for decision-making processes. However, the integration of AI in healthcare decision-making raises significant ethical concerns that require careful examination. This research explores the ethical implications of utilizing AI technologies in healthcare decision-making processes. The study aims to identify the ethical dilemmas, challenges, and potential benefits associated with the adoption of AI in healthcare settings. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that highlights the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the research. The introduction sets the stage for understanding the ethical implications of AI in healthcare decision-making processes and provides a clear roadmap for the study. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review that examines existing research on the ethical implications of AI in healthcare decision-making. The literature review covers ten key aspects, including the impact of AI on patient autonomy, privacy concerns, bias and discrimination in AI algorithms, accountability and transparency, data security, and the role of healthcare professionals in AI-driven decision-making processes. By synthesizing and analyzing current literature, this chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in healthcare.
