Cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, emphasizing the urgent need for innovative treatment strategies. The development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy has emerged as a promising approach to improve the efficacy and reduce the side effects of conventional cancer treatments. This research project aims to investigate the design, development, and evaluation of advanced drug delivery systems tailored for targeted cancer therapy. Chapter One provides a comprehensive introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of terms. The chapter sets the stage for understanding the importance of developing novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy and outlines the key components of the research study. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review that explores existing knowledge and research findings related to drug delivery systems for cancer therapy. The review covers ten critical aspects, including the current challenges in cancer treatment, the role of drug delivery systems in enhancing therapeutic outcomes, and recent advancements in targeted drug delivery technologies. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, highlighting the key processes and techniques used in the design and development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. The chapter includes a discussion on the selection of materials, formulation strategies, characterization methods, and in vitro/in vivo evaluation of the drug delivery systems. Chapter Four presents an elaborate discussion of the research findings, focusing on seven key aspects related to the performance and efficacy of the developed drug delivery systems. The chapter analyzes the experimental results, discusses the implications of the findings, and compares the outcomes with existing literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the research outcomes. Chapter Five serves as the conclusion and summary of the project research, highlighting the key findings, implications, and contributions to the field of targeted cancer therapy. The chapter also discusses the limitations of the study, suggests areas for future research, and offers recommendations for the translation of the research findings into clinical practice.
