This research study aims to investigate the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma through a comparative analysis. Pediatric asthma is a common chronic condition that affects a significant number of children worldwide. The traditional approach to managing asthma in children involves regular in-person visits to healthcare facilities for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. However, the emergence of telemedicine offers a new and potentially more convenient way to deliver healthcare services remotely. The primary objective of this study is to compare the effectiveness of telemedicine with traditional in-person care in managing pediatric asthma. The research will involve a comparative analysis of outcomes such as asthma control, medication adherence, healthcare utilization, and patient satisfaction between the two modes of care delivery. By examining these key indicators, the study aims to determine whether telemedicine can provide comparable or even superior outcomes in managing pediatric asthma compared to traditional in-person care. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of medical records and patient data with qualitative interviews and surveys. A sample of pediatric asthma patients receiving care through telemedicine and traditional in-person care will be recruited for the study.
