Title Effectiveness of Telemedicine in Managing Pediatric Asthma Abstract
Pediatric asthma is a prevalent chronic respiratory condition that affects a significant proportion of children globally. The management of pediatric asthma poses challenges due to factors such as adherence to treatment, access to care, and monitoring of symptoms. Telemedicine, as a novel approach, offers the potential to address these challenges by providing remote healthcare services. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma, focusing on its impact on disease management, patient outcomes, and healthcare utilization. The study will begin with a comprehensive literature review to examine existing evidence on telemedicine interventions for pediatric asthma management. The review will explore key themes such as the use of teleconsultation, remote monitoring devices, and mobile health applications in pediatric asthma care. By synthesizing the findings from previous studies, the review aims to identify gaps in the current knowledge and highlight the potential benefits of telemedicine in improving asthma management in children. The research methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A sample of pediatric asthma patients and caregivers will be recruited to participate in the study, with data collected through surveys, interviews, and medical records review.
