Telemedicine, the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients via telecommunications technology, has emerged as a promising tool in enhancing healthcare delivery. This research project aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine on pediatric care through a comparative study. The study seeks to evaluate how telemedicine interventions affect various aspects of pediatric care, including access to healthcare services, quality of care, patient outcomes, and cost-effectiveness, by comparing traditional in-person care with telemedicine-based care. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of healthcare data and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers, caregivers, and pediatric patients. A comprehensive literature review will be conducted to provide a theoretical framework and context for the study. The review will explore the existing research on telemedicine in pediatric care, highlighting both the benefits and challenges associated with its implementation.
