This research project aims to investigate the impact of virtual reality therapy in managing pain and anxiety in pediatric patients. The utilization of virtual reality technology in healthcare settings has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to enhance patient care and outcomes. Pediatric patients often experience pain and anxiety related to medical procedures, hospitalization, and chronic illnesses, which can have detrimental effects on their overall well-being. Therefore, exploring the effectiveness of virtual reality therapy in alleviating pain and anxiety in this vulnerable population is crucial. The research will commence with a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies on the use of virtual reality therapy in pediatric healthcare settings. The review will focus on the benefits, limitations, and challenges associated with virtual reality therapy in managing pain and anxiety among pediatric patients. Additionally, it will highlight the theoretical frameworks and empirical evidence supporting the use of virtual reality therapy in pediatric care.
