Access to quality pediatric care is essential for the well-being of children, but many underserved communities face challenges in accessing such care due to various barriers. Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to bridge the gap in healthcare access, particularly in remote and underserved areas. This research project aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine in improving access to pediatric care in underserved communities. The study will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telemedicine in pediatric care and its potential benefits for underserved populations. The research methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis to gather insights from healthcare providers, caregivers, and community members. Chapter One will provide an introduction to the research topic, including background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two will present a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects of telemedicine in pediatric care, such as its effectiveness, challenges, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction.
