Telemedicine has emerged as a promising tool in enhancing healthcare delivery, particularly in the field of pediatrics. This research study aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine on pediatric healthcare outcomes through a comparative analysis. The study will compare traditional in-person healthcare consultations with telemedicine consultations to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and overall outcomes in pediatric care. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telemedicine in pediatric healthcare, highlighting the benefits and challenges associated with its implementation. The study will explore the various technologies and platforms used in telemedicine, as well as the regulatory and ethical considerations that impact its use in pediatric care. Methodology To achieve the research objectives, a mixed-methods approach will be employed. Quantitative data will be collected through surveys and analysis of medical records to assess key healthcare outcomes such as patient satisfaction, treatment adherence, and clinical outcomes. Qualitative data will be gathered through interviews with healthcare providers, caregivers, and pediatric patients to gain insights into their experiences and perceptions of telemedicine. Findings and Discussion The findings of the study will be presented and discussed in detail in Chapter 4.
