Childhood obesity has become a significant public health concern globally, with detrimental effects on physical and mental health in affected individuals. Telemedicine, a rapidly evolving healthcare delivery method, offers a promising approach to addressing this issue by providing remote access to healthcare services. This research aims to assess the impact of telemedicine on the management of childhood obesity, focusing on the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions, patient outcomes, and healthcare provider perspectives. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the literature on childhood obesity management and telemedicine interventions. Current research on telemedicine applications in pediatric care, particularly in the context of obesity management, is examined to identify gaps in knowledge and opportunities for further investigation. The review highlights the potential benefits of telemedicine, such as increased access to care, improved patient engagement, and enhanced monitoring of health outcomes. Methodologically, this research employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and parents of children with obesity. The quantitative component involves the collection and analysis of patient data from telemedicine interventions, focusing on key metrics such as BMI changes, adherence to treatment plans, and healthcare utilization.
