Telemedicine has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare delivery, offering opportunities to improve access and quality of care for pediatric patients with chronic conditions such as asthma. This research project aims to investigate the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma, focusing on its impact on disease management, patient outcomes, and healthcare utilization. The study will begin with a comprehensive literature review to explore existing evidence on telemedicine in pediatric asthma care. It will then proceed to describe the research methodology, including the study design, participant selection criteria, data collection methods, and analysis plan. The research will involve a sample of pediatric asthma patients receiving care through a telemedicine platform, with data collected over a specified period to assess outcomes such as asthma control, medication adherence, healthcare utilization, and patient satisfaction. The findings from this study will be discussed in detail in Chapter Four, presenting a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma. The discussion will highlight key findings, identify any trends or patterns in the data, and explore the implications of the results for clinical practice and future research. In conclusion, this research project will provide valuable insights into the role of telemedicine in improving care for pediatric asthma patients.
