Abstract
The rapid evolution of technology has transformed the traditional office setting, leading to an increase in remote work arrangements. In light of this trend, this research project focuses on the implementation of virtual meeting tools to enhance communication and collaboration in a remote office setting. The primary objective of this study is to investigate how virtual meeting tools can effectively bridge the communication gap and foster collaboration among remote teams. The research methodology employed in this study includes a comprehensive literature review, a detailed analysis of existing virtual meeting tools, and a survey of remote office workers to gather insights and feedback on the use of these tools. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review comprising ten key items that discuss the importance of effective communication and collaboration in remote work environments and the role of virtual meeting tools in facilitating these aspects. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. The research methodology section also includes a discussion on the selection criteria for virtual meeting tools and the process of evaluating their effectiveness in improving communication and collaboration in remote office settings.
