This research study explores the implementation of a Digital Document Management System (DDMS) in a business environment, aiming to enhance efficiency and productivity through the digitization and systematic organization of documents. The significance of this study lies in addressing the challenges faced by businesses in managing large volumes of physical documents and transitioning towards a more streamlined and digital approach. The research methodology employed in this study includes a comprehensive literature review, followed by the design and implementation of a DDMS prototype in a real-world business setting. Chapter One introduces the research, providing background information on the importance of document management systems in modern business operations. The problem statement highlights the difficulties and inefficiencies associated with traditional paper-based document management methods.
