The utilization of telemedicine in healthcare, particularly in the management of chronic diseases among older adults, has gained significant attention in recent years. This research study explores the impact of telemedicine on chronic disease management in older adults from a nursing perspective. The objectives of this study are to evaluate the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions in managing chronic diseases among the elderly population, assess the barriers and limitations of implementing telemedicine in this context, and identify the key factors that contribute to the success of telemedicine programs in improving health outcomes for older adults. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including background information on telemedicine and chronic disease management in older adults. The problem statement highlights the challenges faced in traditional healthcare delivery for this population, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions such as telemedicine. The research objectives focus on investigating the impact of telemedicine on chronic disease management, while also acknowledging the limitations and scope of the study. The significance of the study lies in its potential to enhance nursing practice and improve health outcomes for older adults through the integration of telemedicine technologies.
